Dog Training Club of Bermuda
WELCOME TO THE DOG TRAINING CLUB OF BERMUDA
We are a not-for-profit dog training club, established in 1964, staffed entirely by volunteers.
We offer classes in Obedience and Agility for the general public and their dogs.
You are invited to stop by and watch our classes, talk to our instructors and see dogs being trained at various levels. Check out our Calendar page and Classes page for more information on when and where to find us.
Our philosophy is to teach dog owners how to train their dogs using dog friendly methods. The Dog Training Club of Bermuda (DTC) shares the principals set fourth by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Our board members and trainers aim to represent these Guiding Principals and conduct themselves as outlined in the Code of Professional Conduct and Responsibility.
DTC trainers will work with you to help you understand how your dog learns and how to get the behavior you want from your dog while eliminating the behavior you don't. Training with our club will help you build a relationship with your dog based on trust and mutual understanding.
Come join us for a class that is sure to be fun for you and your dog! The Dog Training Club has a broad base of educated and experienced trainers including several Certified Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT).
The Dog Training Club of Bermuda has a long-standing history of promoting dog training in the community. The DTC presents dog training/behaviour seminars with local and international presenters, holds licenced Obedience and Agility trials, participates in educational visits and demos island wide, and also runs a dog training program for kids.
